Jennifer

Jen was born and raised on the island and loves to explore new places close to home. She grew up living on a farm surrounded by a variety of animals, from horses and pigs to bunnies and a peacock. A lot of her free time was spent going for horseback rides through the woods.

She spent several years working as a legal assistant before deciding to branch out into the medical field. She has worked with VIHA and is a certified first aid instructor but decided to find somewhere to share her love of animals. McKenzie Vet has been a great fit!

Jen enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, camping, and just relaxing on the beach with her family. She has spent the last few years finding new places to camp and explore with her husband and their two young sons. So far, their favourite places are in Strathcona Park, but they are planning to keep finding new locations each year. Jen is hoping to add a puppy to their family one day soon to join in on their adventures!
