Bailey attended three years of Animal Biology at the University of Guelph before being accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College, where she graduated with honors.
She spent her summers out of vet school working for Parks Canada, which is how she fell in love with the island. Bailey and her partner Harmonie, who is also a veterinarian, both moved to Victoria after graduating in 2022.
Bailey has a special interest in ultrasonography, small mammals and geriatric medicine. Since starting in practice, Bailey adopted a lab-mix "Plumb" (named after the veterinary textbook) and hopes to one day accomplish her lifelong dream of adopting a three-legged rabbit and one-eyed pigeon.
