Jack

Raised in Saskatchewan, Jack has been around critters their entire life, ranging from dogs and cats to horses, cows, and the occasional bird and reptile. Before moving to Vancouver Island in 2017 Jack spent much of their time on horseback, helping with cattle drives and cattle brandings. After moving, their career has remained farm focused, spending time on horse herd management, dairy farming, and on horticultural pursuits. After running around and bouncing from farm to farm, they've learned plenty of niche skills to become a Jack-of-all-trades and bring it all together for client care at McKenzie Veterinary Services.

Jack now spends their time working on cross stitching projects and other creative projects, trying to keep cat paws from playing with the thread while they work. The downtime is always appreciated after a busy day of helping clients and visiting with pets of every kind when they come in for their check-ups!
