Lori was born and raised in Victoria. She began in the veterinary field by volunteering at Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital 16 years ago and has been working as a tech assistant ever since. Life’s adventures have taken her to Vancouver, where she worked at a family owned, general practice which offered boarding and grooming alongside the veterinary services. She was also kept very busy at the Emergency/Specialist Hospital in Calgary, where she adopted her dog, Kismet – a happy Husky X who had been hit by a car and had several surgeries. Home is also a busy place with 4 cats and a regular rotation of foster kittens for Dee’s Orphan Kitten Fund.
