Suzanne Bowman

Suzanne grew up loving animals but was never allowed to have one, so when she was 16 she started volunteering at a local veterinary hospital, and as soon as she graduated high school she joined the team full-time as a veterinary assistant. As much as she loved working with the animals Suzanne soon realized that her strengths lay in customer service and client care so she moved to the reception team and started her journey of learning and growing into an office manager and eventually a practice manager.

In April 2022, after 16 years at a practice in Maple Ridge, Suzanne moved to Vancouver Island and joined the McKenzie team. After more than 25 years in the industry Suzanne is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the team and will continue to seek out opportunities for learning and advancing her ability to support a hospital with such a long history in the community.

In her spare time Suzanne loves exploring the island with her partner Matt and her step dog Buttercup, and is learning to play the ever-popular game of pickle ball.
